Coombs Sets School Record in Heptathlon at WT Classic and Multi

Latavia Coombs had another outstanding performance at the West Texas A&M Classic and Multi Meet. This time the NMJC Sophomore set the school record in the Heptathlon with a NJCAA leading score of 4698 points. Latavia has now set 6 NMJC school records.

Teresha Jacobs qualified for nationals in the 3000M Steeple Chase and improved national qualifying marks were hit by Esther Gitahi (800), Christine Moss (200), Shian Hyde (200), Rochelle Frazer (Shot Put), and Cathilee Mullings (Triple Jump)

The T-Birds are now set to host the Ross Black Track and Field Open on Saturday, April 15th at the Ross Black Field of Champions- NMJC
