The T-Birds will compete in the first round of the Region V Tournament on Thursday, Nov. 7 at 11 a.m. MST in Roswell, NM at the New Mexico Military Institute.
NMJC 17-13 (7-7) faces NTJCAC's No. 2 ranked Vernon College 17-12 (10-4) in the first round of the Region V Tournament on Thursday, Nov. 7 at 11 a.m. MST at Cahoon Armory.

The double-elimination tournament will send two teams from Region V to Clarksville, TN for an automatic-berth into the NJCAA Volleyball Championships held at the Dunn Center on the campus of Austin Peay State University.
There are two brackets following the first round of the Region V Tournament with the winner of the winner's bracket and the winner of the losers bracket each getting bids to the national tournament.
If the T-Birds, NMJC will play the winner of NMMI vs. NCTC on Friday Nov. 8 at 9 a.m. MST. If the Thunderbirds were to lose, NMJC would play the loser of NMMI vs. NCTC Nov. 7 at 5 p.m. MST.
