NMJC Beats Frank Phillips College Before Heading to Regionals

The T-Birds beat Frank Phillips College in three in Borger, TX Wednesday night. 

The team played a great three sets winning the first 25-18, second set 25-22, and third set 25-13.

Leading the team in kills once again was Kristine Teivane with 13 kills, 13 digs, and 2 aces. Following Teivane in kills was Kennedy Kelly with 8 kills, 2 aces, and 3 blocks. Maggie Teixeira had 7 kills and 3 blocks. Lacie Schooley put up 35 assists and led in digs with 17 digs. Following Schooley in digs was Ta'nya Gibson with 14 digs. 

The next match for the T-Birds is still TBA as they are headed to compete in the regional tournament in Midland TX next weekend. Their first game will be determined by the end of this week.
