NMJC Beats Frank Phillips College in 3

The Lady T-Birds won in 3 against Frank Phillips College on Monday at Caster Activity Center in Hobbs, NM. 

The team played a strong three sets winning the first set 25-12, second set 25-10, and a third set 25-17. 

Leading the team in kills was Maggie Teixeira with 13 kills and 9 digs. Following the lead in kills was Kristine Teivane with 10 kills and 11 digs. Leading the team in digs was Ta'Nya Gibson with 13 digs. Kennedy Kelly contributed with 10 kills, 6 aces, and 5 blocks, while Lacie Schooley put up 4 kills and 37 assists. 

The Lady T-Birds will be on the road for their next game this Saturday, October 9th, against NMMI in Roswell, NM. The team's next home game will be Wednesday, October 13th, at 6PM MST against the Odessa College Wranglers.
