Lady T-Birds Beat Clarendon in 5

The Lady T-Birds defeated Clarendon College in 5 last Wednesday in Clarendon, TX. 

NMJC had a tough start losing the first set 20-25 and the second set 18-25. The team came back in set three winning 25-17. They continued to win set four 25-9 and set five 15-13. 

Maggie Teixeira led the team in kills with 17 kills and 2 blocks. Following Teixeira in kills comes Kristine Teivane with 14 kills and 16 digs. Kennedy Kelly contributed with 13 kills and 4 blocks. Other athletes putting up numbers were Isabella Zen with 8 kills and Lacie Schooley with 52 assists and 15 digs. 

The team traveled to Gainesville, TX over the weekend to play two matches against Otero Junior College and North Central TX College, more results for those matches to come.
