Lady T-Birds move up to 10th in latest poll

NMJC up three spots from previous poll

The New Mexico Junior College women's basketball team moved up to No. 10 in the latest NJCAA coaches poll released Wednesday.

The Lady Thunderbirds (14-1) were ranked No. 13 in the previous poll released Dec. 17.

Western Junior College Athletic Conference foe Odessa College (16-2) comes in at No. 6.

Undefeated Chipola College (17-0) tops the poll and is followed by Hutchinson Community College (14-0), Trinity Valley Community College (12-1), Iowa Western Community College (18-0) and Northwest Florida State College (15-1) in the top five.

NMJC returns to WJCAC play 5:45 p.m. Thursday when the Lady T-Birds host Western Texas College at Caster Activity Center.
