The T-Birds began their second classic of the season with a monster 94-55 win over Pratt CC on Sunday, Nov. 9.
NMJC was quick out the gates finishing the first half with a 50-25 lead. The T-Birds grew their lead up to 39 points in the second half after not trailing the entire game.
Sophomore guard Xavier Perry tallied a career-high 18 points and three assists off the bench. Kemauri Millender finished with 14 points and three steals.
Center Ladji Coulibaly posted 11 points and five rebounds. Grigorije Avramovic scored eight points, recorded three rebounds, and added three steals.
Forwards Delang Muon and Yanel Datilus both recorded eight points. RJ Nance registered nine points and three rebounds and three assists.
The T-Birds shot 33-for-70 (47.1%) from the field, 10-of-30 (33.3%) from the 3-point line, and 18-of-19 (94.7%) from the free throw line. NMJC forced 29 turnovers and held the Beavers to 33.3% from the field.
The Thunderbirds move to 4-0 and will face Otero Friday, Nov. 14 at 3 p.m. MST in Hobbs, NM.
