Region V has announced the Men's Basketball Players of the Week for the week of Feb. 10-16.

The Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Week is Jonathan Jackson of Ranger College.

The 6-5 sophomore post from Everman, TX averaged 15 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in two games played last week for the Rangers.

The Western Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Week is Darnell Rogers of New Mexico Junior College.

The 5-3 sophomore point guard from Baltimore, MD put up 45 points in two total games last week. He also dished out 12 assists and had 4 steals. He hit six 3-pointers and went 17 of 21 from the free-throw line.

The Dallas Athletic Conference Player of the Week is Erik Talton of Mountain View College.

The 6-1 freshman guard from Desoto, TX averaged 22 points in two games last week. For the week, he added 10 assists and 4 steals in two victories to secure a first-round bye at the DAC Tournament.
