Jebet earns USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week
Rose Jebet named NJCAA top runner for the week of Sep. 28
New Orleans, LOUISIANA -
Fresh of her second consecutive individual title, New Mexico Junior College Cross Country student-athlete, Rose Jebet was named the USTFCCCA NJCAA Division I National Athlete of the Week after turning in a time of 18:49.09 at the NMJC Invitational on September 26th.
Jebet, the freshman from Eldoret, Kenya, is off to a fantastic start to her collegiate career. two weeks ago, she captured the individual title at the Western Texas College Invitational and this week, she ran away from the field at the midway point of the race to secure the win and the seventh fastest time in school history.
