Thunderbirds finish 2nd at Home Open Meet

The NJCAA #8 Ranked Thunderbirds had another strong showing at their home open meet.

The Thunderbirds finished 2^nd in the team scoring losing to NJCAA #3 ranked El Paso CC, but beating #7 ranked South Plains.

Individually, the Thunderbirds had 3 runners in the top 10. Purity Murray finished 2^nd, Silvia Sosa 6^th and Naomi Tanui 8^th.  "Silvia and Naomi had great races, making big improvements on their time from 2 weeks ago. I am happy with how they ran" commented Coach Becker.

The next action for the Thunderbirds will be Saturday, October 25^th when they host the Region V Championships.
