#1 Ranked T-Birds perform well at home

In the final tune up before the NJCAA Championships the #1 Ranked T-Birds performed well at home.

On the Track the sprint group excelled on the larger outdoor track with 5 improved marks and 1 new marking coming from this group. In the field events not only did the T-Birds see improved marks, but one school record was set and one was tied. Rochelle Frazer, who had been inching up on the weight throw school records, finally got it. She threw the 20 pound weight 52' ½" to set the new NMJC record.

This meet concludes the regular part of the indoor season. A complete list of NMJC qualifiers and the events they will be competing in at nationals will be listed closer to the championship date.
