4 T-Bird Runners sign for the 2017-18 season
NMJC T-Bird track team was honored to announce the signing of four girls that will move on for the 2017-18 seasons. Tamara Moncrieffe (University of Alabama), Cassidy Reddell (University of Texas Permian Basin), KL Clark (University of Kentucky) and joining Clark at Kentucky will be Christine Moss (University of Kentucky).
Moncrieffe will compete the in long jump and triple jump for the Crimson Tide while Reddell will support the Cross Country team and compete in long distance events during the track season. Finally, Clark will attend Kentucky and support their sprinters group next year.
During the 2016 season Moncrieffe achieved National Championship status in the indoor triple jump and currently holds the school record for the triple jump at 12.96m. During the outdoor season she earned 3rd in the triple jump and 5th in the long jump.
Clark earned national championship honors in the 200m and is currently the school record holder in the 200m at 23.08. Clark also qualified for the 2016 Olympic Trials for the country of Trinidad-Tobago. Outdoor Nationals saw Clark earn 3rd in the 100m and National Champion in the 4x400m relay and is a part of the school record team with a time of 3:37.
Reddell was an All-American the NJCAA Half-Marathon during the 2015 season and was a national qualifier in the 10,000m outdoor championships.
Moss earned a 3rd placed finish in the 200m and 400m during the 2016 Outdoor NJCAA Nationals and was also a member of the NJCAA National Championship 4x400 relay team with Clark as a teammate.
