NMJC Results at Howard College Rodeo
NMJC’s McLeod and Hayes Win Howard College Team Roping Championship
NMJC Rodeo had five team members make it back to the short go round in five events this past weekend, and the JC's team roping team Tyce McLeod and Wyatt Hayes win the team roping championship, at the Howard College Rodeo in Big Springs, TX. Wyatt Hayes also made it back in tie down roping finishing six in the average. Megan Powell finished fifth in the average in breakaway roping, Ed Beardsworth finished ninth in the average steer wrestling, and Preston Burr finished seventh in the average in saddle bronc riding. NMJC Men's Team finished second with 330 points and TSU was first with 470 points. Final NIRA /SWR Rodeo will be a Tarleton State in Stephenville, TX, April 20-22, 2017.
